Description and Features

This ultra-compact GMRS/FRS two-way radio value pack offers radios with a range of up to 30 miles. The CXR900 offers the maximum power allowed by law and the highest capacity lithium ion batteries in the industry. It also features the new high-tech Rewind-Say-Again® feature, allowing users to replay calls as well as record messages for later playback. This eliminates the risk of missing an important call due to a noisy environment and allows users to store information that otherwise would be lost. The desktop charger wall adapter can also charge one radio through its speaker/microphone/charge jack. Other features include 10-Channel NOAA All Hazards Radio, VibrAlert® silent paging, VOX hands free operation, 10-channel memory, 142 privacy codes and a scan feature. You can save as many as 10 channels in the memory and then scan as many as you would like.

30 Mile Range	Up to 30 Mile Range (Range will vary depending on terrain and conditions).
Selectable Hi/Med/Low Power Output	Choose between High Power to maximize range, Medium or Low Power to conserve battery life (in GMRS).
22 Channels	Front panel push buttons give you easy access to all 22 channels (7 GMRS/FRS, 7 FRS, 8 GMRS).
142 Privacy Codes	38 CTCSS (Continuous Tone Coded Squelch System) codes and 104 DCS (Digitally Coded Squelch) codes provide a total of 142 privacy codes. 3,124 privacy combinations are possible when the 22 channels are combined with the 142 privacy codes.
VOX	The user's voice is detected and the radio transmits without the need to press any buttons, freeing hands for other tasks. Several VOX sensitivity levels allow the user to select at which point the radio will detect their voice.
10 NOAA Weather Channels	Warns you of weather, chemical and other civilian emergencies. Warnings include: Civil Danger Warning, Evacuation Immediate, Hazardous Material Warning, Severe Weather Watch, Law Enforcement Warning, Radiological Hazard Warning.
Patented VibrAlert®	Provides a silent alert for incoming calls.
Rewind-Say-Again™ Digital Voice Recorder	Miss a call? Playback the last 20 seconds of audio. Transmit saved messages. Record messages to yourself.
10 Channel Memory	Allows you to program up to ten channel (or channel/privacy code) combinations for easy retrieval.
Battery Saver Circuitry	A unique circuit extends the life of your batteries. If there are no transmissions within 10 seconds, the unit will automatically switch to battery saver mode.
Scan Channels/Privacy Codes/Memory	Allows you to scan either channels, privacy codes within a channel or the 10 channel memory to locate conversations in progress.
Water Resistant	Improved reliability for indoor/outdoor use.
Key Lock	When activated, provides key pad security eliminating accidental channel changes.
10 Call Tones	Allows you to differentiate between up to ten different parties on incoming calls.
Roger Beep Tone (selectable)	Confirmation tone indicates the completion of your transmission, and signals to others it is clear to talk. This feature is selectable and can be turned off.
Auto Squelch	Automatically shuts off weak transmissions or unwanted noise due to terrain or range constraints.
Maximum Range Extender	Overrides Auto Squelch to provide extended range reception.
Illuminated LCD	Maximum ease of use even at night.
Keystroke Tone Signal	Confirms key activation. This feature is selectable and can be turned on or off.
Speaker/Microphone/Charger Jack	Allows use of wall charger or earphone speaker/microphones (not included) for "hands-free" operation.
Belt Clips	Secures your microTALK radio while on the go.
